SP Devices' high-speed digitizers with powerful ADX interleaving technology

Overview
Digitizers from SP Devices are ideal for demanding measurement applications that require high speed and high resolution. Many of the products utilize SP Devices’ patented ADX technology that enable unprecedented sampling rates for a given vertical resolution and hence efficiently removes the need for compromise. As a result our customers achieve competitive advantage from SP Devices' unmatched combination of sampling rate, resolution, and dynamic range.

Flexible and Customizable
Our digitizers host powerful Xilinx FPGAs that implement pre-defined logic while also allowing for customer specific real-time signal processing through an optional FPGA firmware development kit. The deep on-board memory in combination with advanced triggering and flexible data acquisition modes makes the products versatile and suitable for a wide range of applications.

The digitizers are available in numerous industry standard form factors and are delivered with extensive software and firmware for customer application development and integration in Windows and Linux environments.

Our digitizer models’ key specifications are listed below, sorted by bit resolution. Extension modules serving solid state disk storage for data streaming (ADQDSU), distributed trigger/timing (ADQTDU), and 10 Gigabit Ethernet network interfacing (ADQ10GBE) are also listed. Additionally, the ADQDSP FPGA computational board can be used either as a stand-alone unit or as a complement to the FPGA already hosted on each of the digitizers if additional computational power is required. Overviews of our software development tools and OEM design services round out our offerings.
