The ADQ35-PDRX acquires the input signal through a single connector and uses an onboard splitter to divide the signal into two separate paths with distinct gain settings. The high gain path accurately captures low-amplitude portions of the signal, while the low gain path captures high-amplitude peaks without causing saturation. These two signal paths are then combined in real-time within the onboard field-programmable gate array (FPGA) to produce a digitized output with enhanced performance.
PDRX increases the dynamic range by 3 bits and is seamlessly integrated into the digitizer for quick and easy system-level integration. Consequently, the ADQ35-PDRX achieves a dynamic range comparable to a 16-bit digitizer, but with the added advantage of a higher sampling rate.
The ADQ35-PDRX includes all features of ADQ35 including high-speed data streaming, open FPGA, extensive software suite, advanced triggering and clocking, general-purpose input/output (GPIO), and more. More information about PDRX is available
